Problem Radar & Problem Bank
Two widgets support problem discovery: the Problem Radar scores a problem signal, and the Problem Bank records a problem that has graduated from its Radar. Like every widget they render inline in the chat and everyone in the chat works on the same live copy.
Create one from the Assets rail: the Problem Radars folder has New Problem Radar, and the Problem Bank folder has New Problem Bank. An agent can also create either one in the chat. If your admin has turned a widget type off for the workspace, it is not offered.
Problem Radar
A Radar (🎯) scores one problem hypothesis across weighted axes, each from 0 to 10, drawn as a spider chart.
- A research agent usually seeds every axis from evidence first; people then adjust the scores.
- Each axis can carry a note: a rationale, an evidence stage (mentioned, repeated or commercial) and the Brain records it cites.
- Some axes are gates: pass/fail, non-negotiable. A failed gate blocks graduation whatever the other scores are.
- A weighted composite score and a verdict update live: graduate, hold or blocked.
Problem Bank
A Bank record (🏦) is made from a passing Radar and keeps a snapshot of that Radar's composite and verdict.
- It tracks the credible-confirmation ladder: confirmations from real customers (three by default), each with its evidence criteria, such as a real example, the impact, the workaround understood and the buyer identified.
- Contradictions are recorded too; a contradiction marked fatal vetoes the problem.
- It holds the customer map, workarounds, known unknowns and the lead customer.
- Its verdict is banked, insufficient or blocked. A Facilitator, Admin or Owner can override the lifecycle (hold, returned, archived, or back to auto) with a reason; every override is kept in an append-only history.
